Collecting their equipment, they assembled onto the putting green where they were first taught how to putt. This involved instruction on the basics and then to put some into practise with some fun and games.

Next, they split into two groups and were shown how the intricacies of chipping and techniques on how to get their ball from around the green to be close to the hole. They were also taken to the driving range where they were shown the basics of a good connection and how to drive the ball further.

At 3pm, they assembled on the first tee of the Northcliffe course. This is a gentle introduction to golf and allows them to try their newfound skills. However, it wasn’t long before they were all asking for lessons on how to get out of bunkers! Afterwards we assembled in the 19th Hole (The club house), and enjoyed a drink or two!
