Saturday saw the first event that the EKLBB were able to launch where we met in person.
The event was fully booked and started off with a golf lesson organised by the professionals at North Foreland Golf club in Broadstairs. designed for those who had always wanted to play but been afraid to ask, there was a lesson on putting, chipping and iron play.
What followed was a mini tournament and a chance to put their skills into practice around the par 3 Northcliffe course which is a gentle introduction but still offers a challenge to the more skilled golfers.
After the tournament, there was a chance to sit in the sun and enjoy the fellowship we have all missed from the past 18 months or so.
The winner was Noah Smith. (pictured with Chairman Howard Griffin) with a gross score of 67.
Runner up was Chris Pascall with a Gross score of 68.
There were a number of extra prizes for nearest the pins which were won by Ronan Georgin, Chris Pascall, David Morgan and Thomas Stone.
James Coperman took the award for the “most golf played”
