EKLBB Archery taster event

Saturday 18th June saw members and a partner of the EKLBB enjoy two sessions of Archery at The Archbishop’s School in Canterbury courtesy of the Canterbury Archers. During the two sessions of Archery tales were regaled by the victor of the first session at a local drinking establishment and the weather turned a touch for the worse. A bit more wind and yes a touch of moisture from the sky, however they did not have to worry about the sun in their eyes.

The gauntlet was well and truly thrown down to beat the target set by our own Fraser Gregory (He was however, beaten by Debs his Wife!).

The relaxed atmosphere and very helpful assistance from the Canterbury Archers ensured that everyone had a great day with medals handed out to the first three from each session.

There is now some questioning over who exactly was the winner, maybe this could be settled over a game of Petanque in August. Please ensure you book in early and don’t forget the family is welcome!
