Demonstration of Italian masonry
We are delighted to invite you to this special event in Canterbury. Italian Brethren will demonstrate the unique ways they open & close a Lodge, together with other fascinating aspects of Italian Freemasonry.
This is NOT a Lodge meeting or LOI. The Italians will first demonstrate opening the Lodge in Italian, then repeat the ceremony in English using the same unique ritual. The same format will be followed for the closing. Between the opening & closing, there will be an informative Q&A session. We will also be shown some fascinating Italian Masonic relics & their historical significance in the museum too.
This event is taking place on Saturday 25th October. The closing date for booking is Sunday 19th October.
Dress Code: Masonic dress is optional. You are most welcome to wear a dark suit, white shirt, and black Craft or Provincial tie. Smart casual is equally acceptable if you prefer.
Who Can Attend: This is a male Masons–only event, open to both Light & Dark Blues. Non-members of the EKLBB Club are also welcome. This is a unique opportunity & we’re keen to extend the invitation.

Venue Address: Canterbury Masonic Centre, St Peter’s Place, CT1 2DA.
Entrance: Please do not use the High Street or Museum entrance. We will be entering the building via the rear entrance of the Museum car park.
Train Stations: The venue is relatively close to both train stations. Canterbury West (7-minute walk ) & Canterbury East (14-minute walk).
Parking: The recommended closest parking to the venue is North Lane Car Park, CT2 7EF, (3-minute walk).
